Our Instagram Post today asked all of you, "what is your favorite workout." I decided to choose this quote because the long run is my favorite workout during the Cross Country and Track Seasons. It takes willpower and strength to finish but when you're done, you get a runners high and feel as though you've conquered you biggest fear. This quote comes from Bill Squires, a previous coach of the Boston Track Club that coached some incredible athletes. Anyways, the long run is a way to build physical and especially mental strength for your future practices and races. So once you complete your long run, you'll know that your stronger both of body and of mind.
